Despite a goalless outcome against Liverpool at White Hart Lane on Saturday, Jol reckons both players’ contributions will provide goals in the near future.
"Lee was exactly what I had in mind. I wanted someone who could get forward on the flanks and get his crosses in.
"If the supporters didn't know him beforehand they must have been pleased with what they saw and that's what he's always done when he played in Holland - he's a good defender, he comes forward and he has some extra quality, so that was pleasing," said Jol.
"Grzegorz played two games in four days for Poland so I asked him how he felt and he said he felt good. He's very positive and in two situations in the box he showed exactly what I want from him.
"If we get the crosses in, he'll score goals. We saw that with the disallowed effort from the corner kick and when he hit the crossbar. I think he's a very good addition to the squad," he added.
