Martin Jol will be hoping for a similar result against Chelsea to the one Clive Allen's reserves managed last week, when Spurs host the west Londoners at White Hart Lane this weekend.
Goals from Phil Ifil and Johnnie Jackson put Spurs two points clear of Crystal Palace at the start of last week. Tottenham won by the same scoreline at home to Middlesbrough in the Premiership on Saturday, which provided Jol's side with a goal difference advantage at the summit over another south London club, Charlton Athletic.
Tottenham's next two home games in the Premiership, against Chelsea and Liverpool, have both sold out, but tickets are now available from the Park Lane ticket office for the club's second London derby of the season, against Fulham (tickets on general sale from September 1st).
