Ferdinand completes Hammers move

Ferdinand has signed for the Hammers until the rest of the season for an undisclosed fee after completing a medical on Monday evening.

The 36-year-old former England forward, who scored 39 goals in 149 appearances for Spurs following his arrival from Newcastle United in 1997, is expected to make his Hammers bow in their fixture at Charlton on Wednesday night.
