FA Cup quarter final countdown

Spurs boss Martin Jol said: "It won't be easy in the FA Cup after we were pitted against Chelsea."

"When I saw a former Spurs manager in Terry Venables making the draw I thought we might be okay, but we ended up with the toughest draw possible!! The positive thing is that we have given a good account of ourselves in the last couple of seasons at Chelsea - last season we were doing well at 1-1 until a very late goal from William Gallas.

"We had a good home game against them in November and we now face a similar challenge to repeat that success. Of course we have got a good chance, but they are very strong and I would have much preferred it if we were at home.

"We will go there with an army of Spurs fans behind us for a massive game, the same as at Fulham (in the fifth round). It is always a great feeling to have such a huge support."

Ledley King who will miss out through injury, said: "I suppose you can't complain, it could have gone either way, but to get the champions makes it very difficult. The thing is with Chelsea, we have beaten them this season and there is a belief that we can do it again. It will be a great game to be involved in and hopefully we can get the right outcome."

"As a player you want to play against the best players, test yourself in the big games and produce the goods. They don't come much bigger than this, it will be a great spectacle and our fans will travel in their thousands. The atmosphere will be brilliant and we feel that whoever we play in the cup we can win against."
