Martin Jol told The Times: "We’re building a new team so it’s good that we’re so high in the table. We will have disappointments in the future, but I’m happy with it because we’ve bounced back for the third time this season. We were 2-0 down at Charlton, 1-0 down at Villa and 1-0 down at United and we’ve come back in all those games."
"Last year we were fine if we were up but if we conceded it looked a bit different," he carried on in The Guardian.
"Now we are a hard team to beat, but it was our fault we went behind (on Saturday) - If you're making mistakes you make them (United) look better than they probably are at the moment."
The Dutchman added in the Daily Mirror: "Everyone can see we are a bit better this season, with more experience. Everyone is trying to get those European places but if we can stay consistent I think we can make it to the top six."
