Dawson’s red card was just the start of an unjust night of events at Craven Cottage, that was intensified when Jermain Defoe was barged over in the 82nd minute of this Premiership dual.
Afterwards Martin Jol said he wanted to see "that one" again, referring to the incident when substitute Defoe was halted on his path to goal while Bocanegra escaped punishment.
Defoe had also been wrongly adjudged offside by a linesman’s flag at Bolton in November, which coincided with the previous time he was considered by Jol as a regular starter for Spurs.
