Ahead of Spurs trip to West Ham United this Sunday, boss Martin Jol said: "We know what we have to do. We need the points in order to realise our own ambitions. Our former player Calum Davenport is there now and, naturally, I hope he does well, but only one thing matters to me and that is Spurs."

Davenport had broken into the first team at White Hart Lane this season, but opted to become a Hammer last month. The central defender said: "Tottenham's away form this season hasn't been the best, I think they've only won a few games away from home all season so coming to Upton Park, with the fans that we've got, will be difficult for them."
