Tottenham have landed French Under 18 midfielder Adel Taarabt on loan from Lens.
The attacking midfielder only made his first team debut for the French Ligue 1 club earlier this season.
Spurs Sporting Director Damien Comolli said: "We were especially pleased that we beat several leading Premiership clubs to his signature in what was a continuation of our policy of attracting the best young talent."
