Arsenal vice-chairman, David Dein, along with two other G14 representatives have met FIFA president Sepp Blatter and UEFA treasurer Matthieu Sprengers for discussions on five occasions since October, it's been revealed.
That Blatter has been involved is regarded as a threat to UEFA according to reports because the organisation would normally take the lead in delicate matters such as these.
The private talks could also be seen to undermine the role of G14 chief executive Thomas Kurth, who has pursued a case on behalf of Belgian side Charleroi against international teams.
