Celtic complete permanent signing of Cameron Carter-Vickers

Celtic have announced the permanent signing of Cameron Carter-Vickers from Tottenham.

The USMNT defender hugely impressed during his season-long loan at Parkhead for the 2021/22 campaign, securing a place in the Scottish Premiership Team of the Year after helping the Hoops complete a domestic double.

90min previously reported that Celtic would face a tough job to keep Carter-Vickers as a number of Premier League sides were interested in his services, but they have won the race for his signature and confirmed that he has signed a four-year contract on Friday.

"I am so pleased to complete my move to Celtic and I really could not be happier," Carter-Vickers told the club's website.

"I have loved every minute of my time at Celtic so far and I really wanted to be part of the club’s future.

"We have a fantastic group of players at the club, we have a really good spirit and atmosphere among us and we all worked so hard together to deliver the league and League Cup success last season."

"I wanted to make sure I was part of this group going forward and working under a great manager, and now we all want to achieve more.
