Carr's future has been the subject of recent stories in the press but manager Hoddle was adamant that Carr could realise his ambitions with Tottenham.
Hoddle said: "I can't worry about things that are being said outside the club.
"The reality is that Stephen has had a long time out and he's back fit and has worked hard.
