He added: "When you do score a goal and it is taken away from you it makes it hard. Apart from that we had two or three good chances as well which, on another day, might have gone in and we would have been coming away quite happy.
"We tried to get the ball down and pass it the best we could, but they do make it hard for you and the pitch wasn't great. We carved them open a couple of times so we are disappointed we got beaten but we will not let it affect our season.
It’s another side doing well in the top half of the table who are next up for Spurs at White Hart Lane.
"We've got another big game (West Ham) coming up soon where we want to bounce back with it being a local derby. If we can win that we can hopefully get on a bit of a run again."
