Birmingham offer £5.5m for Butt

Steve Bruce has reportedly made a £5.5m bid for Manchester United's Nicky Butt. The central midfielder has been singled out by many Spurs fans as the man that could move the team on to higher levels, but with every day and every rumour of other clubs interest, his signature seems further away from a Spurs conract.
