It seems Antonio Conte will not be on the Tottenham bench next year as his contract with the Premier League side is up at the end of the season and the relationship appears to be at an all-time low.
After being knocked out of the Champions League by AC Milan on Wednesday night, Conte was very pessimistic about his future, saying: "My contract expires in June. We will see - they might sack me even before the end of the season, who knows, maybe they are disappointed."
Conte added: "This is not the right day to speak about my future. I have a contract with Tottenham and Tottenham know very well my thoughts. At the end of the season we meet and then make a decision."
That then begs the question; where could he head when his time at Tottenham comes to an end?

Inter
In recent weeks, Conte has been quite heavily linked with a return to his former club, Inter. The Nerazzurri haven't really progressed this season under Simone Inzaghi and there is a feeling the team are stagnating under his management.
Conte delivered the Scudetto for Inter in the 2020/21 season but then departed when it became clear the Chinese owners would try to raise money in the transfer market rather than improve the squad.
The Times recently reported Inter have already contacted Conte for informal talks on his return to the club. The financial situation at the club is no better than when he left, though.
Juventus
There's a theme here. Inter are Conte's most recent flame in Italy, but Juventus have also been linked. Massimiliano Allegri has been under fire for large parts of this season although there have also been spells where he has impressed.
There is a huge amount of uncertainty around Juventus given the 15-point deduction they suffered earlier this season and possible further punishments that may come their way.
They are also likely to be without Champions League football next season, although that may not be a bad thing for Conte based on his record.

AS Roma
The final Serie A side with a genuine chance of Conte joining is AS Roma because Jose Mourinho...well, is Jose Mourinho. If the Giallorossi don't qualify for the Champions League, he may well be on his way.
The project at Roma is very attractive for a lot of coaches and one that could be tempting for Conte should the job actually become available.
PSG
With Paris Saint-Germain out of the Champions League again, there are fears for Christophe Galtier and his future with the Ligue 1 champions. It's a job Conte has been linked with many times before.
It would be a very hard job fail in domestically but Conte's terrible Champions League record of never getting past the quarter-final stage will worry PSG given it's the tournament they are hell-bent on winning as soon as possible.
There could be a lot of change upstairs at PSG in the near future with sporting director Luis Campos also coming under fire for the club's continued failure to win Europe's premier competition. But would Conte be a good fit? That's up for debate.
Real Madrid
Slightly more of a rogue shout, but there is constant talk that Carlo Ancelotti could be on his way out of Real Madrid at the end of the season, leaving one of the biggest jobs in the world open.
Some may feel that Conte has slipped slightly beneath the level that Real Madrid requires now, but he won't be one of those people.
