Once the Bale deal is officially announced, would the mood be lifted with a joint announcement that Willian has ben signed?
The Chelsea story maybe fake or may be genuine, however it is yet to be confirmed by anyone at Chelsea (so that has to give some hope right?). It could very well be that this is all some transfer window games and Spurs sell Bale and announce that they have signed Willian ahead of Chelsea and all of a sudden we look like the "Big Club" in town.
Harry Redknapp has come out and said that we should not believe the rumours that Levy may now pull the plug if the Willian deal falls through, however I think we shold ignore that. Levy will want a replacement in place first we all know that… silly Harry. Levy would never spend such a large amount of money thinking that we may do a deal for Bale. No fee's and instalments were agreed so how would we know how much we have to play with? It's impossible to contemplate that. Harry should have known that by now!
Either way rumours are coming thick and fast and I have to ask everyone if these rumours seem made up? Any of these rumours could seem genuine and if none of them are true you have to asked who they were started by. As said previously most of the time they come from a club or an agent to give them leverage or time.
It certainly is entertaining so more of it for me, bring it all on, some of it gives me a giggle and smile and others have me standing and pacing around with excitement (it's what it's all about).
