Striker Crisis

How many times have we all seen Levy refuse to spend money wisely throughout a campaign?

We all know that a team pushing to cement a 4th team spot should always strengthen in January (just to keep up with the pack alone), but when you are struggling outside that pack it is even more important.

Money is scarce we all realise that, but loans are available! Huge money is not needed.

The biggest joke about all this is that we wouldn’t have needed to strengthen in January (up front) if Defoe wasn’t sold, but again HUGE mistakes are made an nothing done to rectify it!

Levy made the mistake of hiring AVB without a strong and experienced No.2 to guide him, he then made that mistake worse by sacking him without any replacement. He then made the third mistake of then hiring someone with exactly zero management skills or experience to do a job that a world class and experienced manager would have struggled with.

Ok those that think Tim has done a fantastic job (any manager bringing Ade back would have got the same reaction), a better manager would have got that reaction from the team.

In the business world anyone that has failed to meet their objectives for years upon end is sacked, how is it that Levy is still there? Lewis must grow a pair (or get them back from who's ever handbag he left them in) and admit to the mistake, he should not have kept Levy in charge if he cannot do his job.

The evidence is there. No change has been made since Redknapp was sacked. A knee jerk reaction then and several knee jerk reactions since have affected the team in a dramatically bad way, so much so that we have spent money and done nothing to get the best out of that money. Do you see Ferrari  spending hundreds of millions on a new car and then employing a driver that just past their driving test (let alone raced on a circuit).

The sooner Louis gets in the better as he will be the only one that could save Levy his job.

You think Sherwood is unlucky... he was lucky to get the temp job let alone an 18 month contract (now thats lucky with no experience). I don't see JP Morgan taking a grad student on and giving them their largest account... do you? No because they are not suicidal and realise they have a responsibility. Most importantly those people are intelligent enough to realise that in the top positions money MUST BE spent to achieve great things.
