Falque was sold to Genoa back in the summer, which raised numerous eyebrows (including mine). For me MoPo has no excuse on letting this youngster go without looking at him.
Last season the youngster Rayo the winger was a regular, however he did not show great promise.
Now looking 6 months on from his transfer and I am left questioning our policy again.
4 goals in 5 games has seen Falque being thrust into the limelight and his manager singing his praises. A recent goal coming against Napoli with Falque showing an array of skills (last seen from him at U21 level) composure, trickery and awareness to take on two defenders and hit a shot home from just outside the box.
We had issues selling Prince and Taarabt (yes both have had great spells and fallen since), but with the right tutelage they could have became consistently good.
Its times like this that you need to pinch yourself in hope that its all one big nightmare!
