Defensively we are first on 1499 points with Everton 13 points behind and Southampton 173 points behind in third.
In attack we sit in 4th 379 points behind leaders Man City, but only 77 behind second placed Liverpool.
Our Possession score is where we seem to slip up and sit right down in 7th on a ridiculous 237 points. That’s 751 points behind leaders Man City.
At present we are averaging 295 points a game as a team, however we did manage to score a miserable 54 points in one game!
It all seems bizarre to me, to sit in second in the table on statistical points, but in reality be in 7th for the Premier League?
Next we are up against the Man City who have the best possession points and attacking points in the premier league, so if the stats are correct we should expect a game of City attacking and us defending.
We will certainly be without Eriksen so it will undoubtedly be the chance for Lamela to step in and show us what he is all about.
