The whole Soldado deal is hinging on how Spurs can pay the full amount. Contrary to reports it is not that Spurs have offered £22million take it or leave it and it was in fact confirmed by Salvo himself.
However this bizarre twist is something that I do not believe.
Soldado has the upmost respect for Valencia and has never made any indication that he is not happy, so this would be a dangerous move.
Further to this I do no believe the rumor that Soldado has agreed a deal at just under £58k a week, having just signed a contract at Valencia last year he is unlikely to sign for Tottenham for less than he is currently on.
As always its rumor upon rumor that makes another rumor.
One reader was very quick to state that I make things up, but in all honesty I do not claim to be an ITK source I talk about what I hear as if I was sharing it with a friend down the pub. However what I will point out is that what I had originally said about the deal was confirmed by Salvo direct. Things can change in football at any stage and when I put something out there it is more about creating a calm and group feeling rather than a divided fan base.
Let's stick on this one together guys and gals we need to sit and wait as Salvo isn't budging, but it doesn't mean it's a dead deal.
