So sorry if you are getting excited by the potential of Negredo coming on board, but its another school boy error by the papers stating something and linking it to a transfer.
Ok so what has Negredo actually said?
"The Premier League is a great competition, I really like it and I think my style of football would be well-suited to it," he said. "There comes a time when a cycle comes to an end and I don’t know whether my time will be sooner or later. I haven’t thought about it a lot but I wouldn’t mind playing abroad. I’ve spoken to the guys playing in England, mainly when we were together at Euro 2012 because we had a lot of free time," Negredo said. "I spoke to Mata and Torres and I know they really enjoy it".
So once again the papers have called something from nothing. Negredo has made no "plea" to anyone and he in fact has stated he may like to move and if he does he may like the premier league.
Well I may take part in the lottery and I may win it at some point, does that mean I am going to be a millionaire? Come on people lets not read into these ridiculous statements that the press are turning into something.
However would I take Negredo at Spurs? He's scored double figures for the past 3 seasons and has 11 in 17 so far this season, so yes I would, but not at the quoted €18miilion maybe £10million.
