But no fear not, they are well off the mark.
The Daily Mail, The Sun, The Mirror have all been invovled in stating that Lloris ha been quoted saying that he will leave in Jaunary ,but this is completely unfounded states Talk Sports French journalist Auclair!
News came following a sports program on French television where two ex France stars (one being Coupet) said that Lloris should leave in January and if he does not he will inevitably lose his place as France's No.1
Well I can understand the conversation, but its a load of rubbish there. England played David James whilst he was playing at Bristol City (but still at the time our best keeper). Talent doesn't disappear if you don't play every single game for your club!
It comes as another moronic statement by ex French players or current manager that is doing their best to disrupt Lloris.
Either way it has now come out that Lloris had stated that he was happy with the fans and the club at Tottenham, but there was no comment made as to his thoughts on AVB.
In terms of the Lloris vs Friedel battle I believe it is now certainly time to allow Friedel to gracefully bow out and for Lloris to step up. Did anyone know that our 1 clean sheet this season has come from Lloris? Although I rate Brad highly we must think of the clubs future and it is now more than ever the upmost importance to allow Lloris to come in and settle as the No.1 keeper.
He has been very professional (so either advised well or genuinely a true professional), but he has show respect that us fans crave from our players.
Although people will moan and say that you can't drop him into a game like a derby against Arsenal, but he has the confidence, ability and experience to be thrown into worse. Lets face it Brad has not been at his best (a show of age).
AVB has made some notably questionable decisions, but you have to put your faith in the young manager that got us a scalp against Man Utd and managed to get a team to play so quickly under new tactic's. Whether I agree with him or not (still deciding on that in all honesty) I must and will continue to support the manager.
As Auclair has said, it all could change come January and not for Lloris (I think that says it all really), out of the top 5 in the league come January and I think it will actually be AVB leaving (don't get your hopes up of a Redknapp return though).
Come on you Spurs!!!
