In the early hours of this morning a few Liverpool fans started to contact Brian Lamela (brother of Erik) after hearing that they (Liverpool) had made a bid for the Roma striker.
Much to their disappointment they had found out that the Argentinean was on his way to Tottenham, as tweeted by his brother. I was skeptical of the account but media sources confirmed its legitimacy, however it is not hard to fake a Twitter account screen print either.

Sky Sports Italy announced yesterday that a deal had been agreed and several sources have confirmed this today. AVB also confirmed that there would be more signings (other than Willian) in attack and defence.
So if this all comes true (although I didn't want it to unfold in such a way) I am glad that it didn't happen like with Berbatov and Keane racing off and being replaced with OK players.
I would love to believe that Lamela is coming, however we shall have to wait and see what the day brings (as Brian Lamela says).
