Ian's Wrong

I read Ian Wright's comments on the Footymad website and have just managed to mope up the mess created from the large amount of laughter this brought on. The slump that Spurs have gone through although are not ideal have come at a decent time (not the best), but more than recoverable! As every fan does I moan after a bad run, but you just have to look at the poor start to the season, we had a loss to both sides of Manchester and a draw to Hearts (at home).

Harry and the lads then managed to turn it round to winning ways very quickly. Wenger on the other hand had struggled to get his side back to winning ways and if it wasn't for the relentless dominance in front of goal of RVP then Arsenal would be struggling further back. Redknapp and the lads have in fact less of a problem as we just have to bounce back, the pressure is in fact on the Arsenal squad. I would like to ask the last time that an Arsenal squad performed so badly?

One slip up now could wipe out Arsenal's chances of a finish above Spurs completely. Every Spurs fan is fully aware that we may slip up and if we do its not a new thing. We may have expectable a finish above Arsenal, but we are the new kids on the block now and the Premier League have now started to realise that we are now a big force.

Arsenal on the other hand have faltered and the only way I truly believe they will progress is for Wenger to leave (he's had a great record, but the team is not what it used to be... far from it), the true fans of Arsenal will in fact agree.

So Ian may have the experience of playing professional football and me Saturday and Sunday's, but I can see where the pressure truly lies and its well within the red half of London.

Come On You Spurs
