However this last stint in hospital in the U.S. has concerned me a lot and I have been reading and watching on with bated breath.
Gazza is a player that I grew up watching, so to see the Spurs legend keep doing himself all this damage is something that I hate to read or see.
Will it ever end though? Best was the same, he said how much he wanted to give it all up and in the end its the alchohol that got the better of him. Whether Gazza likes it or not he has been walking the same line!
I see Gazza say in his interviews that he wants to get better, but I never see the real strength that he showed in his play come into his personal fight against alcoholism.
Once I see a healthy looking Gazza I'll be happy, but I hate to see legends of the game go down in flames!
Come on Gazza do us all a favour and be strong!
