Finance is the only transfer issue

Levy has never invested in the January transfer window or rather not at the level that is needed. I realise we have got players in (in January), but theses were cheap options that proved to be a waste of time.

The issue at the moment for Levy is always the same issue.... MONEY.

Levy is known for making very shrewd business decisions and it will never change. Ade for £5million after scoring 18 goals last season was a steal, Lloris at £8miilion another steal, VDV for £8million, the list of bargains is long. We scream at Levy for leaving it late (and I will admit to doing this), but at least he spends some money, look at poor Moyes!

As its stands money is holding up our transfers, as you'd expect. Sneijder wants to leave Inter after a torrid time at the club of recent and he is in no rush to make a decision. He is expecting to get one more “big” contract, but he also realises that his stock has dropped (thus waiting for offers from clubs bigger than Gala).

Moutinho is still linked to Tottenham, but once again the money is an issue (but this time its about who its owed to).

Finally we have Willian. Levy has never been one to agree on an price asked by a club and will not simply agree to Shakhtar's valuation. Shakhtar have set a minimum and had refused to budge, so do we have a mexican stand off?

Levy has too much pride in my opinion, whether he likes it or not spending now will obtain Champions League and the money spent is received back from the league. Yes he will have to then spend again come the summer, but at least it will not have to be more than 1 player!

Money is the route of all evil and Levy must now take this route evil or not. This will get the players believing that they are a big club, by signing big names (not just selling them).

COYS!!!!
