It was strongly believed that the 18yr old wizard would sign for Newcastle and be loaned back until the end of the season.
If Spurs have stolen the march on the Toon then it would be a great last minute play in the market.
This rumour at the moment is the more likely of the ones doing the rounds with MoPo desperate to use the youth squad to build the future at WHL.
