The only other team to profit in the summer was Newcastle.
Man City topped the table with £86m! We may have spent over that, however we had more come in from sales than was laid out (supposedly).
It is not necessarily a bad thing that we financed our entire spend and then made a profit in the summer, but it is an interesting point to look at.
However I have to question what Here in the City have reported. Supposedly we had spent £103.7 million and also they say we sold £106.75million leaving a profit of a little over £3million.
According to official figures our spend was in fact £107.25million see below;
Lamela £26.4 million
Eriksen £11.88 million
Chiriches £8.36 million
Capoue £9.68 million
Soldado £26.4 million
Chadli £7.172 million
Paulinho £17.358 million
Also according to official figures we received £103.857 million in sales see below;
Bale £80.080 million
Luongo £413.6k
Parker £3.96 million
Huddlestone £5.104 million
Dempsey £5.984 million
Caulker £8.052 million
Livermore £264k
So we have in fact spent £3.393million putting us 2nd form bottom in the table.
I think that before anyone prints anything they should thoroughly check their calculations and fee's.
If anyone else has something different please let me know.
