For some reason this player is rated very highly and at first glance the goals per game ration for Fenerbahce of 0.625 iis seemingly great. However at a closer look the forward has completely struggled this season and only notched up 2 goals in 13 appearances (thats a ridiculous 0.153).
Anyone that believes we need another Adebayor is very much mistaken and if you don't believe me read further into this players past.
Fenerbahce bought the player in 2011 only to find out that he was to be arrested upon match fixing charges. He was swiftly transfer listed and sold to Spartak Moscow. 5 months on Emenike was charged along with 13 other players this time on match fixing attempts. After a long outdrawn case of 2 years and due to a lack of credible evidence the charges were dropped. Then after all of this Emenike returned to Turkey and again joined Fenerbahce. Now is it me or do these transfers sound as fishy the charges being dropped?
Does this really sound like a player that we want at the Lane? Another player that will do whatever they want and forget the consequences? For me there are much better players out there.
Let's move on to a player that is worthy of our time and worthy of the club as for me this guy is a complete and utter waste of time and an accident waiting to happen.
