I have been searching the web high and low to find anything that could mean anything in an approach for our longest supposed transfer target in years.
Then finally after a long search I find something released by Talksport today and their South American correspondent (Tim Vickery) gives his thoughts.
He clearly states that he is confused with the whole situation. AVB stating Damiao wouldn't want to come to Tottenham and we are happy with our striker force etc etc (however he states it could be part of a plan). There are not reports from papers anywhere in Brazil that Damiao is set to leave, having talks or that Inter are in talks with anyone club. Then he goes one step further and states none of his sources have said anything either!
Now how many times have you known the British press to get a story about a player leaving the country and no one in that country knows anything about it? I don't know a time when it's happened. Usually there are stories across both sides.
So simply there is not a move. Damiao has not been spotted flying anywhere and given that the move would have to happen tomorrow you would have thought he would have flown in at some point!
Although Tim Vickery makes it clear that it cannot be ruled out 100%, but that is purely down to the supposed "long term interest" link.
If I see Damiao on Sky Sports agreed move to Tottenham I think I may end up back in hospital for the second time this week!
Once again Spurs fans lets not allow the circus known as the English Press to get the better of us as I am sure they are all laughing now, like the rest of the fans seeing us believe the hype.
I stand by what i being said and the facts out there, don't expect to see this Brazilain holding up a Tottenham shirt.
