Could we pull off a shock and beat City?

However could City be in for a spot of bother against us?

Having lost 2 of their last 3 games City have not been in consistent form.

They lost to Sunderland away 1-0 and against Chelsea they managed. Ok between the 2 losses they managed to thrash Norwich 7-0 and drum up 758 points as a team, but still we are above them in the league.

The issue for City all season has been consistency. Despite what seems to be good news, City are yet to drop any points at home. Beating Newcastle, Utd and Everton by 2 goals or more in each outing.

As a team we have played as well away as we have at home. With 2 losses at home already it has not exactly been a fortress. In front of goal we have also scored more goals at home than we have away (only scoring twice in one away game), so on that front does it seem like we are doomed to fail?

All this may point to a defeat against Man City, but I believe that we could give them a run for their money (more than what some realise). Firstly with Kompany out and their heads on low )after a defeat to Sunderland), I feel we have an opportunity. It is likely that Lamela will be in starting lineup and without their command and chief I feel they will be open at the back. Adding to this that we played some of our best football after conceding to Newcastle, I feel that if we start right we may have turned a corner.

Soldado has come out and spoken of his frustration so I would expect him to be on the score sheet this weekend. Away from home we have only conceded 1 goal, so that should be enough to test the City front line.

For me I think we will be sharing the points come the end of the weekend, but there is still a chance that we could pull off a smash and grab!
