After a good season with Hull Livermore has made his loan move permanent. The fee suggested is £8million which (in my opinion) is a fantastic bit of business on Levy's part.
Livermore was keen to make the move after enjoying his time in the north and of course will continue to link up with Huddlestone.
Hopefully this represents a change in our policy to hold onto the fringe players and the regular under performers.
Although many of our players bought in the summer last year were deemed to have under performed I would like to see them again this season under new management. I believe the Paulinho, Capoue, Soldado, Lamela and Chiriches will all flourish under Poch. No offense to Sherwood, but he didn't demand any respect and what little respect he had he lost (with his unprofessional and childish behavior).
What are you thoughts though? WIll Poch get the best out of summer "flops"? Can we expect to see Soldado and Lamela hit the heights expected after their transfers?
My response is watch this space as under the Argentinians stewardship I expect to see some dramatic changes in play and little money is needed to progress as ideally we are in need of a LB, CB and LM. Ok when I say not much we could get Lescott on a free and just pay for a new LB and LM.
