Ok for me I have highlighted the 2 key words in this. This is that we are active in the last weeks not at the beginning so essentially dismissing this rumour. Yes he states that Villa is one of the world's best (was in my opinion), but there are no hints at all that we are doing anything right now, so merely speculation.
Can anyone tell me how the above could be interrupted that we are in fact chasing or in talks with Villa or Barcelona and at a price of £10million?
I think you can all wipe your foreheads covered in sweat in a sigh of relief, as for me this is not happening! At least not for the time being and I doubt at the price quoted. If Levy got Lloris for an initial €10million (26 yrs old France No.1 keeper), why would he pay £10million for a 31 yr old striker that has seen major injuries in his latest years and his overall goal scoring performances have dropped? It just doesn't make sense at all to me.
Again concentrate on the important things for now fellow fans. We are not going to sign anyone between now and Sunday, so its the game that should take precedence over anything else that comes out. Oh unless they announce Gareth signing hi new contract up first.
