For me it raises concerns again over how serious Levy is. Considering that the decision to sack Arry "didn't come lightly" it must have been a decision was made before the end of the season so why is it that a replacement was not ready and waiting?
Back in February Frank Rijkaard was linked to Tottenham and his agent Perry Overeem had said that Frank would like to challenge himself in the premier league, so why has his name not come up again? Is it that the true candidates are being kept under wraps? Are these candidates really smoke and mirrors to distract us all from the real story?
Levy is supposedly in no rush to fill the position, but this is utter rubbish. Levy cannot fill the position fast enough, it would seem that as always the issue for Levy is getting his man at the cheapest price and while it is good for business its bad for the club. Players are concerned and rightly so, players will not look to come in without knowing who is coming in place.
Once again Frank Rijkaard is who my money is on to be a success and I expect to see something coming out in the press with regards to him and I will be getting excited once it does.
