Ade back, but is he fit?

Following last seasons performance I was understandably one of Ade's biggest fans. He had provided the club with so much, with his goals and assists.

Fast forward on a year and we are now wondering who we have up front (following injury to Defoe).

Ade has only made 9 starts for the team this season and only managed 2 goals, now although this may not be an alarming return Ade's commitment has again been called into question, but to make matters worse Ade has made it clear and stated he "Doesn't care".

Our only recognised striker has been more interested in the playboy side of his career whilst playing in the African Cup and made the papers this week for all the wrong reasons.

Ade managed to almost take a hotel under seige and refused to check out of the hotel. His scheming also dragged in the rest of his team mates, when he promised to schedule a private jet to take the rest of the team home. The team were considered "stranded" and even local police were involved.

I am now starting to question the player now, I am gutted that it has taken this to change my mind. You have to think that it is this sort of thing that may have been why AVB was reluctant to play him, it was only due to Defoe's hidden injury that Ade was then drafted in.

All aside now Ade is back, but even after some great performances for his country is he now fit to play? If not, why not? I think that it is a big lack of respect showed to us fans by who is at times a great player.

All can be forgiven though, we have Newcastle, two games with Lyon and West Ham left to play this month, then two big games against Arsenal and Liverpool. If he can pull himself together and get back to his form from last season (scoring and setting up) just for the next 2-3 months then he will be back in our graces.

With Newcastle at home next it will be a tough test, but more on the front line than anywhere else.
